A very little child understands that with different signs to the parents can make them understand that wants this or that.
Goes to the park and always wants something that another kid has.
Starts to speak ... and start saying “i want this ... i want that ...”
I saw a documentary with Michael Jackson going to an antique shop, seeing some paintings and saying to the guy from the shop ... “i want this, this ... and this ... and this”. He was not in a good financial position anymore and his stuff was amazed of what he was doing. The prices of the paintings were between 300-600k dollars.
At our level, we do the same thing over and over again.
I want that car that my sister has, i want that trip to the Grand Canion, cause my cousin was there.
One day, we make a huge mistake.
It appears a confusion between things and people.
We start wanting a love with a person that dont belongs to someone else... a love that we cannot have in real life.
The script of our life becomes a movie script.
And we go to ... nowhere.
There is a wonderfull saying:
“Love that we cannot have is the one that last the longest, hurts the deepest and feels the strongest”.
